The Energised Life

travelIf the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but wisdom will bring success. Ecclesiastes 10:10

Wisdom is the pathway to doing less, while having more impact; Working easier, yet bearing more fruit; expending less energy, but living greater destiny!

Busy does not mean fruitful. So make the pursuit of wisdom a priority in your life today, asking God not just “What should I do?”, but “How should I do it?”.

James 1:5 is one of my “Life Verses”, a promise I call on almost every day: “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5 NIV84)

When you ask for wisdom today, realise there is no such thing as God saying no. Wisdom is already on it’s way. It will come to you in a thought, dream, advice, a scripture leaping off the page or a seeming “co-incidence”. Stay sensitive and look out for it, as God wants to teach you how to live wiser and sharper. Practising this daily will lead to an energised life that requires less strength, to be more fruitful.
