encourageTherefore encourage one another and build each other up. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV)

To encourage literally means “to draw near”.

Want to feel closer to those around you? Want to create warmth in relationships? Want to enrich friendships or remove atmospheres of insecurity from a group?

Then encourage.

Every time you encourage, you take a step closer & deeper to the one you encourage.

Don’t just have appreciative feelings, or grateful thoughts…. Transform the depth of your church or friendships, by speaking it out!

Encouragement creates closeness, closeness creates unity, unity is something God blesses, and is the kind of community whose prayers He answers. He LOVES harmony. Harmony is impossible without encouragement.

So get encouraging, hugging, high fiving, text, tweet, message or write a card… & you’ll establish a little more of heaven on earth!
